High Swinklebank Farm Self Catering Cottage

High Swinklebank Farm is a family run working hill sheep farm near the head of the beautiful unspoilt Longsleddale Valley. The valley is ideal for both relaxing and walking for those who like a gentle stroll and also for the more adventurous walker. From the fell tops there are uninterrupted views into 7 different valleys.

Longsleddale is situated 4 miles north of the old market town of Kendal, off the A6 Shap road. Windermere and the main lakes are within easy driving distance along with all the visitor attractions. Also the Yorkshire Dales and the Scottish Borders are not too far away.

The cottage is a self contained stone barn conversion with parking adjacent, and a garden for guest's use. The cottage is well appointed with fitted carpets and heating throughout. The accommodation comprises of a living room with electric fire and colour TV, well equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, spinner, cooker etc. and all crockery and cooking utensils. There are two bedrooms, one double and one with 3' bunk beds and a shower room. All linen is included and is of a high standard. A travel cot is available and children are very welcome. A dog is accepted by arrangement. Electricity is by 50p coin meter.
