Poppy Farm Self Catering Caravan

Poppy Farm is a traditional working farm in a rural location with panoramic views of the Whinfell and Howgill Fells. The area is untroubled by mainstream tourists but within 4 miles of the historic market town of Kendal and close to the M6. It is ideal for easy country walking and touring the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Morecambe Bay and the Furness Peninsula.

There are five caravans situated in a half acre of fenced grassland suitable for relaxation and play, and typified by the call of the curlew on summer evenings. Just one of the 'vans is available for holiday letting.

The holiday caravan is positioned carefully to take advantage of the excellent views of surrounding fields and hills. The caravan is in excellent, clean condition and well maintained. It is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The spacious accommodation comprises of a double bedroom, a twin bedded room and additional berths in the lounge. There is a seperate bathroom with shower, WC and wash basinl. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted with gas cooker, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle and gas water heater. The lounge has a gas fire, colour TV, DVD and dining area.

Local activities include many interesting walks, cycle routes and historic houses. There are a lot of places to eat within reasonable driving distance.

Here you will find freedom, peace and tranquillity. Ideal for all ages.

Guests are welcome to look around the farm and view the activities such as lambing, calving and shearing.
